The Master Plan for Odense Dry Port is Ready
In the summer of 2024, Odense Dry Port unveiled an ambitious master plan that will form the framework for Denmark’s largest logistics hub.
The main goal of Odense Dry Port is to support the customers of Odense Port - who, among other things, manufacture vital components for large offshore wind turbines - by providing extensive storage capacity close to their production facilities, enabling them to keep pace with growing demand.
Lease Existing Buildings
Temporary leasing opportunity – available until September 30, 2026 There is an opportunity for time-limited leasing of existing buildings in Årslev – a total of 11,000 m² divided between office facilities and warehouse/garage space. The property is located directly adjacent to Exit 11 on the Svendborg Motorway. Units can be divided into smaller sections by agreement. Rental prices start at DKK 200 per m² + utilities + VAT.
Construction of Denmark’s Largest Dry Port
Odense Port is developing Odense Dry Port – Denmark’s largest logistics hub – on nearly one million square meters of land between Odense and Årslev. Up to 500,000 m² of buildings will be constructed to strengthen the supply chains of the port’s customers engaged in the green transition. Odense Port has acquired the former state-run horticultural test facility in Årslev, located in central Funen, and will invest DKK 4–5 billion to transform the site into a high-tech, sustainable logistics hub. Odense Dry Port will ensure that the port’s major customers in the wind and offshore industries can keep pace with demand by enabling larger inventories of essential components to be stored close to their production facilities.
