The Future Odense Port
Odense Port is undergoing rapid development that can unlock enormous potential and transform the port into Northern Europe’s largest hub for offshore wind turbine production. In the publication The Future Odense Port, we present how the port of the future can be developed to benefit the green transition and harmonize with the surrounding nature.
Status on Preliminary Investigations
In February 2024, we completed 31 test drillings in Odense Fjord. These test drillings are a prerequisite for conducting the extensive preliminary investigations that will form the basis for a responsible and environmentally sustainable expansion of the port and fairway.
Geotechnical preliminary investigations in Odense Fjord
From March to June 2023, Odense Port conducted geotechnical preliminary investigations related to the expansion of the fairway and quay areas. The preliminary investigation is co-financed by the EU.
